Archery Training Vacation Camp Registration started in thrissur, ollur

 

Archery Training Vacation Camp Registration Begins.

Future Olympians Professional Archery Training Academy and Physically Challenged All Sports Association Kerala have started registration for the Archery Vacation Camp to be held at Ollur Vyloppilly School Grounds from April 2 to May 31. Training will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 am to 10 pm as two classes per week. Those who go to work will have a professional course that can be studied in ten classes. Under the leadership of Kishore AM, who has won international national medals in archery and many other sports, archery training can be practiced from the age of five onwards. Special training for the elderly to participate in the Masters Games and training for the disabled to participate in the Paralympics is completely free. Those wishing to attend the Archery Vacation Camp must register before 5 pm on Thursday 24-3-2002. Call immediately for registration form and more information.

Dear Sir & Madam,

                 The Iran Amputee Football Federation, under the auspices of the World Amputee Football Federation, will be held on March 5 to 9 on Kish Island, Iran. The 18-member Indian team has been selected to compete in the West Asian Amputee Football Championship for the physically challenged. But since all the athletes in the Indian team are members of poor families, they are worried about not being able to find the finances to participate in this championship. It will cost around Rs 1,60,000 per contestant.

Currently, the sport is not approved by the Central or state Governments and does not receive any assistance from the Government. The Para Amputee Football Association of India is an affiliate of the World Amputee Football Federation. Since the Association does not have the funds at present, the Hon'ble Sir & Madam kindly requests you to sponsor and assist the Indian team as much as you can.
